Throughout its existence, our firm has attracted notaries who have distinguished themselves through the excellence of their practice. We are largely focused on transactional real estate law, real estate financing, condominium law and title examination. Community involvement<\/h3><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner el_class=” animated fadeIn duration3 eds-on-scroll ” width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]We are proud to support a wide variety of causes, organizations and university scholarships. A brief history<\/h3><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner el_class=” animated fadeIn duration3 eds-on-scroll ” width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]Our story began in <\/span>1902<\/b>, when recent University of Montreal graduate Ren\u00e9 Leroux founded his own law firm. His son Lionel joined him in <\/span>1926<\/b> and his brother Marc came on board in <\/span>1935<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The year <\/span>1950 <\/b>saw the arrival of Marcel Faribault, followed, in <\/span>1964<\/b>, by the founder\u2019s grandson, also named Ren\u00e9 Leroux, and his cousin Hubert Leroux, in <\/span>1965<\/b>. The firm was renamed Leroux Faribault Leroux.<\/span><\/p>\n

In <\/span>1985<\/b>, the firm merged with another Montreal notarial law firm: Pelletier Poirier Kimmel Filion. The firm underwent another name change, and became known as Pelletier Poirier Leroux Kimmel.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner el_class=” animated fadeIn duration3 eds-on-scroll ” width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]Bruno Burrogano, who had recently been admitted to the profession, joined the firm in <\/span>1988<\/b>. He quickly gravitated towards real estate law.<\/span><\/p>\n

Robert C\u00f4t\u00e9 joined in <\/span>1990<\/b>, and in the years following, the firm was re-named as Leroux C\u00f4t\u00e9 Burrogano.<\/span><\/p>\n

While its corporate name has evolved over the years, the firm has existed continuously since its founding in <\/span>1902<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n
